Roof Installation at the Erman Biology Building

The University of Chicago was looking for a new roof on the Erman Biology Center building. They wanted everything new and updated while retaining its historical look. The job called for a classic red interlocking tile with architectural copper metal in various thicknesses. Field fabrication was needed to accommodate the oversized gutter, along with shop fabrication of all the ornamental pieces, i.e. the ridge, cornice, louvers, standing-seam panels, and finials.
