The building, located on Chicago’s “Magnificent Mile”, was covered by a 12,000 square foot roof. We were called in when the roof began to show signs of wear and damage. After removing and disposing of the existing roof system, we installed a new, highly reflective modified bitumen membrane over tapered, energy saving isocyanurate insulation. Building management had concerns about the work’s effect on residents. We were able to complete this project while hoisting via the building’s exterior, eliminating any disruptions to the condominium’s occupants.
